Abstract. The article examines the place and role of philosophical research in the issue of involving students of Dulati University in the process of teaching social and humanitarian disciplines. The decline in student interest in humanities subjects in the modern higher education system is becoming a global problem. In this context, the methods and approaches of practical philosophy offer ways to make the learning process more meaningful and connected with life. In the course of the research, the methods of posing philosophical questions, the development of critical thinking and strategies for stimulating personal reflection of the student are analyzed. The authors of the article prove that the philosophical approach transforms the student's personality into a subject of research, transforms a passive listener into an active seeker. Based on the analysis, a theoretical justification is proposed for the inclusion of elements of philosophical research in social and humanitarian education in curricula.
