The relevance of this study is due to the increased attention in modern linguistic science to the analytical forms of grammar, syntax in particular. Analytical syntactic constructions are used as distinctly expressive and require deep study in the structure of the text. The analysis of expression at the syntactic level provides for the solution of many problems, including the relationship between the intellectual (nominative, informational, rational, logical) and affective spheres of language; belonging of the affective sphere of language to language or speech; definition of the components of the affective sphere (expressivity, emotionality, imagery, etc.). In connection with the indicated problems, two directions in understanding differ expressions at the syntax level. The first connects the expressive with the concept of subjective modality. The second is with the interpretation of expression as a special method of writing, accompanied by constructive changes, namely, a violation of the syntagmatic chain. The concept of syntactic dissection is understood as a departure from the principles of syntagmatic prose. Expressive constructions form an open row. Most often, they include such phenomena as parcellation, segmentation, lexical repetition with syntactic distribution, and some others. The article analyzes constructions with lexical repetition from different angles.: from the point of view of contact or non-contact of repeated units, belonging to a lower syntactic level or to a higher one, from the point of view of the factor of prevalence or non-prevalence, the degree of prevalence, the frequency of repetition, etc. In addition, lexical repetition is described as a multifunctional tool both in the speech of the character and in the speech of the author. The conclusion of the conducted research is justified: lexical repetition, which is excessive in terms of expressing the main subject-logical information, is an effective, expressive means of creating expression, cementing the text space of the work..
