Abstract

This scientific article comprehensively examines the psychological aspects of preventing behavioral deviations among adolescents. The main purpose of the research is to identify the causes of deviant behavior frequently observed during adolescence and to scientifically analyze the psychological mechanisms of influence used in the process of its prevention. During the study, methods of theoretical analysis, comparative research, systematic review of psychological and pedagogical literature, as well as methods of analysis and generalization of scientific data were used. The article describes the main directions of psychological prevention aimed at preventing behavioral deviations among adolescents and highlights the scientific and practical significance of psychocorrective work aimed at strengthening their social adaptation. In addition, the effectiveness of psychological support programs aimed at supporting adolescents’ personal development, increasing their emotional stability, and developing social skills is considered.

The results of the study can be used to improve the content of educational work carried out in educational institutions, in the practical activities of school psychologists, and in organizing preventive programs for adolescents. The scientific value of the research lies in systematizing comprehensive psychological approaches used in preventing behavioral deviations among adolescents and substantiating their effectiveness from a scientific perspective.м
